I paint primarily in watercolor, acrylic and collage. As an experimental water-media artist my work changes often as I explore watercolor techniques that interest me. My work frequently features the wetlands and birds familiar to the North Florida area near my home, and occasionally Southern Florida. I am drawn to the imperfections of life such as wind blown places and old beat up boats. The exception is my interest in cats. There is something about the light on their fur and that independent spirit that compels me to paint them.
